As the Restaurant Manager at Bittersweet you will be entrusted with critical responsibilities that directly impact the success and profitability of our establishment. Your role demands a high level of professionalism strategic thinking and leadership skills. The following outlines your core duties:
- Develop and manage the outlet budget conducting monthly reviews of revenue and expenditure forecasts with utmost precision.
- Perform thorough analysis of monthend reports identifying and addressing any deviations from established business plan goals.
- Actively contribute to management meetings providing insights on progress towards business objectives and playing a key role in annual business plan development.
- Strategize execute and evaluate profit enhancement initiatives in collaboration with the kitchen and Marketing Department. Deliver comprehensive postmortem promotion reports to the Director of Food & Beverage.
- Implement and rigorously maintain control measures to ensure food & beverage costs productivity labor costs and operating supply costs align with budgetary constraints.
- Conduct daily departmental briefings to ensure effective dissemination of critical information to all team members.
- Provide authoritative supervision to team members ensuring timely and precise execution of all assigned tasks according to departmental standards.
- Cultivate and maintain professional relationships with guests with particular attention to regular patrons. Demonstrate exceptional memory for individual preferences to deliver personalized service.
- Address guest complaints and feedback with the utmost professionalism and efficiency.
- Oversee all administrative duties related to cashier/bar operations ensuring strict adherence to company policies.
- Maintain meticulous records in the department communication logbook and ensure the notice board remains current.
- Conduct regular thorough checks of equipment and stock levels to prevent operational disruptions.
- Enforce rigorous cleanliness standards in both front and back of house areas ensuring full compliance with F&B sanitation and hygiene regulations (HACCP).
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of all food & beverage services menu items preparation methods outlets and hotel amenities.
- Implement and oversee stringent health safety and security protocols within the outlet.
- Attend all mandatory briefings meetings and training sessions as directed by management.
- Execute proper shift handovers with detailed communication to ensure operational continuity.
- Provide essential support to other food & beverage outlets during peak periods or as required by management.
Qualifications :
- Completion of Secondary/High school education is mandatory.
- Possession of additional certification(s) in Food & Beverage is highly desirable and will be viewed favourably.
- Demonstrable proficiency in reading writing and oral communication in both Thai and English language.
- Multilingual capabilities particularly fluency in other languages and a fundamental comprehension of local dialects will be considered a significant asset.
- A minimum of 2 years of directly relevant experience in a comparable managerial capacity within the food and beverage industry is required.
- Extensive working knowledge and practical application of MS Excel Word & PowerPoint is imperative.
- The role demands an exceptionally high degree of professionalism coupled with demonstrable expertise in human resources management and a proven track record of sound business acumen.
