Our client is a nocode/lowcode software development agency that brings ideas to life in just 48 weeks.
The agency specializes in building MVPs and applications for startup founders and businesses delivering highquality apps and websites faster and at a fraction of the cost. The team is composed of startup founders turned builders and pride ourselves on moving fast caring about quality and thinking like founders.
Role Overview:
As a QA Specialist at Bricks Tech you will play a crucial role in ensuring that the applications we develop meet the highest quality standards before delivery to our clients. This position involves manual testing across multiple projects requiring meticulous attention to detail curiosity about how different products work and a processoriented mindset.
We view this role as a stepping stone with the expectation that you will serve as a QA Specialist for 612 months before transitioning into a development or product management position depending on your interests and skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct manual QA testing to ensure all applications meet functional performance and visual quality standards.
- Compare developed applications against their product scope wireframes and design specifications to identify discrepancies.
- Document and track issues bugs and errors ensuring timely resolution by the development team.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and testing priorities.
- Develop and execute test cases and maintain comprehensive documentation for all QA activities.
- Actively learn and understand nocode/lowcode tools and frameworks to improve the QA process.
- Provide detailed feedback to ensure continuous improvement in product quality and user experience.
- Work in an organized manner following structured processes and adhering to deadlines.
Qualifications:
- 612 months of experience in a QA or software development role is preferred but not required.
- A strong interest in the nocode/lowcode software development space.
- Excellent attention to detail with a meticulous approach to identifying and documenting issues.
- Curiosity to deeply understand how different applications and products function.
- Strong organizational and processoriented mindset.
- Ability to work independently and communicate effectively with team members.
- Familiarity with project management tools and Kanban boards (e.g. Trello Jira) is a plus.
- Basic technical knowledge or willingness to learn about nocode tools and app development.
