Summary:
As a Country Manager you will play a critical role in launching and developing new business operations in emerging markets across Africa or Latin America. Initially you will undergo training with colleagues to fully understand the companys standards processes and business model. Following this you will independently set up and expand the business in new countries ensuring alignment with corporate policies and objectives. This role is ideal for a selfstarter with an entrepreneurial mindset a deep understanding of the transportation sector and the flexibility to thrive in diverse international environments.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the establishment and growth of business operations in a designated country aligning with the companys corporate standards and objectives.
- Lead market entry efforts including legal setup regulatory compliance and operational launch.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth in new markets.
- Build and manage local teams providing leadership and ensuring adherence to company values and standards.
- Monitor market trends competitor activities and customer needs to identify opportunities and adjust strategies.
- Collaborate with corporate teams to ensure seamless integration of local operations into the broader organizational structure.
- Maintain strong relationships with local stakeholders including government agencies partners and suppliers.
- Report on operational performance key milestones and market insights to corporate leadership.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelors or Masters degree in Business Administration Management or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in business management or leadership roles with a strong track record of launching and scaling businesses in new markets. Experience in the transportation sector is highly desirable.
- Skills: Strategic planning operational management leadership and relationshipbuilding abilities. Proactivity and a handson approach are essential.
- Specific Expertise:
- Experience in market entry regulatory compliance and team building in international settings.
- Understanding of the transportation industry and its dynamics.
- Languages: Fluency in English (C1/C2) and Russian is mandatory. Proficiency in Spanish French or Portuguese is a strong advantage.
- Flexibility: Willingness and ability to relocate to different countries within Africa or Latin America with a readiness to live and work in diverse cultural environments.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit proactive approach and the ability to thrive in dynamic fastpaced settings.
