What is Embat

Embat is one of the fastest growing startups in Europe. Embat was born in Spain in 2021 to design the best way for medium and large sized enterprises to plan their finances and monitor their cash flow in real time.

Our mission is to build a product (SaaS) that leverages technology and excellent client experience to empower our clients to make the best business decisions by accessing the best financial information 100x more efficiently than using Excel files.

In February 2024 we closed our third investment round worth 15 million euros! This has been led by the renowned international investment fund Creandum with the invaluable support of our all time partners Samaipata 4Founders Capital and VentureFriends.

What are we looking for

As a DACH Finance Account Executive you will be a proven sales professional who speaks the language of finance teams which means understanding what keeps them up at night what financial products they use working capital / cash seasonality or any other theme that is relevant for them.

We are making progress in our expansion to the UK and DACH market so your focus will be on midmarket and enterprise customers managing both short cycle and long cycle sales (typically from 24 months). Embat is a gamechanger for these finance teams so you should be able to successfully articulate our value proposition to CFOs Head of Finance Treasurers or similar decision makers which sometimes could be other Clevel executives.

What will you do

Being able to understand the needs of finance teams regarding treasury management and articulate the value that Embat brings to them

You will manage inbound leads and the entire sales & retention process for mid and large size businesses. Typically you will interact with their finance teams

You will be responsible for generating your own leads through targeted outbound campaigns

  • You are an expert on how to manage multiple stakeholders and multitasking
  • Have the ability to communicate with Clevel executives and senior managers (CFOs Head of Finance Head of Treasury etc.)
  • Travel as needed to meet clients and represent Embat in events talks and webinars positioning the team as trusted experts in the industry

What are we looking for

Perseverant: Sometimes users dont get at first but thats not a problem for you. You always find a very professional and engaging way of keeping the dialogue open.

Experienced: 4 year experience in customerrelated roles (sales and/or client relationship management) and understanding of B2B software solutions and finance.

Team player: We is always before I.

Native German speaker and fluent in English and Spanish.

Youll be our ideal candidate if:

Experience with sales prospecting tools and CRMs (Hubspot preferably)

Experience selling B2B SaaS software for finance departments

Experience in startup environments
