Business Development Representative (BDR)
Remote FullTime Independent Contractor

As an BDR at LegacyPoint you will connect with inbound leads qualify business owners interested in selling and book appointments for our M&A specialists. This fully remote fulltime contract position offers a unique opportunity to gain handson experience in the M&A and private equity space while contributing to meaningful business transitions.

Who You ll Be Calling
You ll be connecting with business owners who have expressed interest in selling their businesses. These inbound leads have been generated through strategic outreach ensuring quality conversations and meaningful engagement.

What We re Looking For

BDR Mission
Your mission is to connect with business owners qualify their interest and schedule appointments for our M&A specialists.

What Makes You a Fit
  • Proven experience in sales customer service or clientfacing roles.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Driven selfmotivated and goaloriented.
  • Ability to manage high call volumes while maintaining quality interactions.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Close.com is a plus.

Responsibilities
  • Outbound Calls: Make a minimum of 200 calls per shift using an automated power dialer to engage business owners.
  • Lead Qualification: Assess sellers goals business readiness and suitability for our M&A services.
  • Appointment Setting: Schedule at least 8 daily appointments for M&A specialists.
  • CRM Management: Document all interactions accurately to ensure seamless followup.

What You ll Do Daily
  • Make 200 outbound calls with an automated power dialer.
  • Qualify leads by assessing their readiness to sell.
  • Schedule at least 8 appointments daily with M&A specialists.
  • Maintain accurate records of all interactions in the CRM.

Weekly
  • Review performance metrics and optimize strategies to improve results.
  • Participate in team meetings and roleplaying exercises to refine techniques.

  • Month 1: Complete onboarding training and start booking appointments.
  • Month 3: Take full ownership of your lead pipeline and achieve performance targets.
  • Month 6: Exceed goals consistently and provide insights to improve processes.
  • Beyond: Advance to leadership roles or the closer path while expanding your impact at LegacyPoint.

Our Recruitment Process
  1. Initial application: 5 minutes.
  2. Introductory interview: 15 minutes.
  3. Assessment task: 12 hours.
  4. Final interview with leadership.
(We aim to complete the process within 23 weeks and will keep you informed every step of the way.)
