About the role:
Qualified candidates will have at least 4 years of experience developing software for embedded platforms. Responsibilities will include participation in teamoriented Agile/Lean development processes and practices leading to the delivery of highquality medical device software. As a team member the candidate will integrate existing processing algorithms into the user device. The candidate will ensure timely test and integration of delivered software as hosted within stateofart portable ultrasound devices.
1. Develops full stack medical device software
2. Analyzes system requirements and UX designs.
3. Assesses technical risks.
4. Designs and implements software.
5. Communicates and documents designs and implementation.
6. Performs software unit integration and system testing.
7. Communicates status on schedule and technical risk.
8. Integrates software deliverables with the larger system.
9. Diagnoses and resolves issues.
Job requirements
1. Familiar with the features of C17.
2. A strong understanding of ObjectOriented Programming (OOP) concepts in C.
3. Experience in building desktop applications for windows systems is required. Development using C is preferred.
4. Knowledge of signal processing basics or DL model training.
5. Experience in integrating algorithms into a software product and testing them.
6. Understanding of general SW design patterns and principles (SOLID Principles).
7. Experience with unit and integration test development using modern test frameworks.
8. Experience with IDEs toolchains software configuration management tools (Git).
9. Experience in one or more scripting languages Python Ruby PowerShell.
10. Strong communication skills.
11. Ability to lift 25 pounds with or without accommodation.
