Job Description
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on various machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical electrical and hydraulic issues as they arise.
- Execute repairs on malfunctioning equipment ensuring minimal downtime.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Replace or repair worn and damaged parts using tools and equipment.
- Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment.
- Keep work area clean and organized promoting operational efficiency.
- Utilize appropriate diagnostic tools and software to assess equipment health.
- Assist in training junior maintenance staff and technicians.
- Report any safety hazards and suggestions for improvement to management.
- Perform root cause analysis for recurring equipment issues.
- Stay updated on new maintenance techniques and technologies.
- Participate in crossfunctional projects that enhance operational workflow.
- Contribute to maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certificate preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintenance mechanics or related fields.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems electrical systems and hydraulics.
- Ability to operate diagnostic equipment and tools.
- Experience with welding and fabrication techniques.
- Effective communication skills both written and verbal.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Certifications such as EPA OSHA or relevant technical training are a plus.
- Basic computer skills for recordkeeping and software usage.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in various conditions including shifts and overtime.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform maintenance tasks.
- A valid driver s license may be required based on location.
