Job Description
- Deliver engaging lectures and tutorials in BCA subjects.
- Develop and revise course curricula to meet educational standards.
- Conduct research in relevant areas of computer science.
- Assess and evaluate student performance through examinations and projects.
- Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students.
- Collaborate with faculty on interdisciplinary projects.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to decisionmaking.
- Facilitate workshops and seminars on current technology trends.
- Manage student projects and supervise internships.
- Prepare and publish research papers in conferences and journals.
- Engage with industry to foster partnerships for student placements.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of new faculty members.
- Ensure the proper maintenance of laboratory and teaching resources.
- Contribute to the development of online learning platforms.
- Stay updated with advancements in computer science education and technology.
- Masters degree in Computer Applications or related field.
- Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related discipline (preferred).
- Minimum 3 years of teaching experience.
- Strong publication record in academic journals and conferences.
- Proficiency in programming languages and software development.
- Knowledge of current instructional technologies and platforms.
- Experience in curriculum design and academic assessment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and lifelong learning.
- Familiarity with industry trends and requirements in computer science.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and guide students effectively.
- Valid teaching certification (if applicable).
- Experience with research grants and funding (preferred).
- Ability to teach a variety of subjects within the BCA program.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods based on student needs.
