High School/GED
ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
Graduate of an accredited radiology program
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT)
American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited radiology program. ARRT R (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) and AZ Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE) Certified Radiologic Technologist (CRT). Basic Life Support (BLS) American Heart Association. The experience acquired during radiology program and student clinical training.

JOB SUMMARY:

Takes radiologic films providing quality images to physicians to aid in the diagnosis of medical problems.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepares and positions patients for xrays selecting appropriate exposure factors. Administers contrast media and medications according to regulations. Monitors patients during procedures and reports abnormalities. Follows radiation safety guidelines and ensures minimal radiation exposure. Verifies exam orders and patient identity ensuring HIPAA compliance. Manages oxygen therapy including adjusting flow rates and changing tanks. Accesses electronic health records inputs requisitions and provides imaging history to physicians. Operating room expectations: Operates and troubleshoots Carm equipment maintains sterility assists RN as needed archives images and positions the Carm according to the surgeons requirements while documenting patient dose

PAY: $24$37/hour

SCHEDULE: Night shift full time (3)12 s or (4)10 s
