Qualifications
required
- Associate degree or higher
- Sonography (2 years)
- ALL of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- American Heart Association Advanced Cardiac Life Support (AHA ACLS)
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS)
- Graduate of an accredited program in Sonography
Preferred
- ANY of the following valid licenses/certifications:
- Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS)
- HVI Vascular only: RVT Registered or Registry Eligible

As an Ultrasound Technologist you will be responsible for providing optimal ultrasound exams and procedures in an efficient and safe manner to facilitate accurate diagnoses. You will interact with various customers and healthcare professionals ensuring confidentiality and compliance with regulatory standards. Join our clients team to contribute to the delivery of highquality healthcare services. This position is located in Robbinsdale MN.
Key Responsibilities
Provides optimal ultrasound exams and/or procedures in an efficient and safe manner to facilitate the physicians diagnosis.
Performs procedures accurately. Applies critical thinking skills appropriately. Recognizes emergent situations and responds appropriately.
Maintains accurate customer medical records. Ensures confidentiality of all medical records.
Utilizes Imaging and hospital computer systems correctly.
Interacts with physicians coworkers customers and families in professional manner.
Has access to medications appropriate to their job duties.
Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
Interprets and presents preliminary examination findings to referring physicians/reading cardiologist for critical findings.
Recognizes appropriate indications for required examinations. Identifies situations where further study is important from a clinical perspective.
Assists customers during the course of the exam/procedure for issues of comfort and care.
Assists with the goal of acquiring IAC accreditation for HVI and once achieved a continuance to comply with IAC accreditation guidelines and standards.
Assist with collection of QA data.
Maintenance of positive study procedure and stent surveillance logs.
Participates in activities for professional development and maintains required clinical knowledge technical skills training and credentials.
Cleaning and restocking of vascular testing and/or procedure rooms.
Recognizes and complies with legal regulatory accrediting and procedural requirements related to area of responsibility.
Understands and follows principles and standards as outlined in our clients Corporate Code of Conduct.
Protects customer and team member privacy and only accesses customer and/or team member related information as needed to perform job duties.
Reports violations or areas of concern to supervisor or Corporate Compliance Officer via established methods of communication.
