Role Overview:
As a Senior Financial Analyst you will play a pivotal role in driving insightful financial analysis and modeling. Utilizing your expertise in Microsoft Excel and adept modeling capabilities you will craft comprehensive models from scratch and enhance existing client frameworks. Your responsibilities will extend to meticulous tracking and analysis of local commercial real estate markets preparing detailed reports on market trends and economic indicators and serving as a trusted advisor with a profound understanding of macro and micro factors influencing the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Expertly craft and refine financial models using advanced Excel functions such as SUM PMI NPV IRR and VLOOKUP.
- Conduct thorough analysis of local real estate markets encompassing employment statistics industry trends and demographic insights.
- Prepare and deliver comprehensive reports to clients and management offering strategic insights and actionable recommendations.
- Maintain a nuanced understanding of market dynamics and economic trends leveraging research to drive informed decisionmaking and business development initiatives.
- Serve as a subject matter expert providing valuable insights and thought leadership on market conditions and investment opportunities.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to align research efforts with business objectives and foster innovative solutions.
- Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills effectively conveying complex financial concepts and findings to diverse stakeholders.
- Exhibit exceptional organizational skills adeptly managing multiple tasks and priorities within a fastpaced environment.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team environment contributing to a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Real Estate Business Economics or related field; CFA FRM qualification preferred.
- 17 years of experience in financial modeling with a strong foundation in equity research DCF modeling Multi family assets or investment banking.
- Proven track record of managing workload producing highquality reports and driving impactful programs.
- Extensive knowledge of local real estate markets and business dynamics coupled with a keen understanding of macroeconomic trends.
- Proficiency in data collection validation and analysis with a demonstrated ability to stay abreast of industry developments.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to derive actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel Word PowerPoint and database systems.
- Strong team player with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate crossfunctional teams towards shared goals.
- Proven leadership qualities including effective communication conflict resolution and decisionmaking skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a proactive approach to driving innovation and strategic alignment.
