Job Description
- Design and develop CMDB architecture within ServiceNow.
- Implement IT Asset Management processes and workflows.
- Manage lifecycle of IT assets from acquisition to retirement.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the CMDB.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements.
- Integrate CMDB with other ITSM modules in ServiceNow.
- Develop and automate data imports and exports.
- Perform regular audits of the CMDB data.
- Optimize CMDB functionality to improve reporting capabilities.
- Provide training and support to users on CMDB processes.
- Monitor and resolve incidents related to CMDB and asset management.
- Maintain documentation for processes and best practices.
- Conduct impact analysis for changes in the IT environment.
- Participate in service improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated with ServiceNow releases and enhancements.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- 48 years of experience in ServiceNow development.
- Proven expertise in IT Asset Management methodologies.
- Strong understanding of CMDB architecture and configuration.
- Experience in scripting with JavaScript and ServiceNow APIs.
- Knowledge of relational databases and data modeling.
- Ability to analyze complex data sets and generate reports.
- Project management skills with experience in Agile methodologies.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- ServiceNow certifications (e.g. Certified Application Developer) are preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in ITIL framework and processes.
- Familiarity with configuration management processes.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
