Responsibilities:
- Prepare and deliver accurate monthly management accounts supporting schedules and reports for management and quarterly reporting.
- Conduct variance analysis to support decisionmaking processes.
- Maintain and oversee journal entries allocations and preparation of asset liability and capital account entries by analyzing financial data.
- Reconcile accounts and analyze the organization s financial transactions.
- Produce timely and accurate financial statements and disclosure notes in line with regulatory standards.
- Support budgeting and forecasting activities monitoring monthly costs against budgets and performing variance analysis.
- Assist in the valuation of business and financial assets using financial models.
- Prepare monthly cash flow forecasts to inform working capital needs and funding strategies.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions including billing operations.
- Liaise with financial institutions and prepare documentation for bank facility drawdowns.
- Calculate costs associated with different capital financial instruments and determine overall cost of capital.
- Coordinate the annual financial audit process and address audit findings.
- Implement internal controls to prevent fraud and errors and prepare tax computations for filing.
- Utilize accounting information systems to process transactions extract data and generate reports.
Requirements:
- A degree in Accounting Finance or a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years in financial accounting reporting and management.
- Expertise in project/contract revenue accounting and percentage of completion methods.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and GAAP.
- Proficiency in general ledger functions and advanced MS Excel.
- Experience with MYOB FreshBooks QuickBooks or similar platforms.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Excellent time management and organizational abilities.
