Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Python Backend Developer with a strong background in Python and
extensive experience in serverless architecture microservices and data pipeline management at
scale. As a senior engineer you will be responsible for leading a team of developers with 2 to 5 years
of experience driving team mandates for data pipelines and managing databases at scale.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Lead and mentor a team of engineers providing guidance and support to ensure the
successful delivery of projects.
Design develop and maintain scalable and robust serverless applications using AWS
Lambda API Gateway and other related technologies.
Build and manage automated testing and deployment pipelines using GitHub and
Codepipeline.
Architect and implement efficient data pipelines and workflows to handle largescale data
processing.
Manage and optimize databases including DynamoDB Postgres and S3 to ensure high
performance and reliability.
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define and prioritize features and improvements.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the
team.
Requirements:
5 years of experience in backend development with a strong focus on Python.
Proven experience in designing and building serverless applications and microservices.
Extensive knowledge of AWS services including Lambda API Gateway DynamoDB S3 and
others.
Strong understanding of data structures algorithms and systems design.
Proficiency in Python web frameworks such as Django Flask or FastAPI.
Experience with automated testing and deployment tools such as GitHub Codepipeline and
others.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to think critically and creatively.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to mentor and inspire a team.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and modern web development practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in managing and optimizing databases at scale.
Knowledge of web servers and Linux operating systems.
Previous experience working in a startup environment.
Strong analytical skills and curiosity about technology and innovation.
