Job Specifics
We are seeking a skilled Lead Project Manager with IT industry experience to oversee project delivery and manage resource allocation. In this role you will lead multiple projects ensure alignment with scope and timelines and optimize team capacity. You ll also participate in developing project proposals for new or existing clients and guide the transition from planning to execution ensuring client satisfaction and smooth project handoffs. Strong leadership problemsolving and communication skills are essential for success in this fastpaced environment.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the planning execution and delivery of multiple projects ensuring they meet scope timeline and budget requirements.
- Manage and optimize team capacity by monitoring resource allocation and adjusting based on project priorities.
- Manage and guide a team of Project Managers.
- Collaborate with the HR team to identify and acquire additional resources when needed ensuring that resource gaps are addressed.
- Resolve conflicts related to resource allocation by negotiating and rebalancing resources across multiple projects.
- Analyze project and resource data to make informed decisions and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Collaborate with the BD team to create comprehensive project proposals including estimations timelines project plans and statements of work ensuring they align with organizational capabilities and goals.
- Actively participate in RFPs and RFIs for new or existing clients.
- Oversee the seamless transition from project proposal to execution ensuring the effective handoff to the project team and managing client expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 5 years of experience in project management resource management or a related field in the IT industry.
- Proficient in English for business communication.
- 12 years of experience as a Team Lead.
- Experience with resource management tools and project management software Jira Workday Trello.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to effectively manage resources and drive successful project delivery.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to manage stakeholder expectations and resolve conflicts.
- Strong understanding of business development processes including proposal development and client engagement.
REQUIREMENTS CONSIDERED AN ADVANTAGE
- Experience working in a fastpaced environment handling multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Ability to forecast resource needs and adjust plans accordingly.
