Business Development Representative

Location: Remote anywhere in the USA(home office) with occasional visits to Burnaby BC Canada
Start Date: ASAP
Compensation: $110000 base salary 2% commission on new business
Benefits: Mileage reimbursement cell phone and home office expense reimbursement
Overview
This role is designed for a motivated individual with proven sales experience preferably in building materials.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
- Client Relations: Build and maintain strong lasting relationships with clients.
- Market Knowledge: Develop expertise in glass and building materials proactively researching trends to enhance client offerings.
- Revenue Growth: Drive consistent growth through strategic sales and proactive lead generation.
- Reporting: Track and report sales progress and client feedback to senior management.
Qualifications
- Experience: 5 years of business development or sales experience ideally within the building materials sector (e.g. glass granite).
- Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Assets: Proficiency in golf is an asset as it can facilitate industry networking and client relationships.
- Education: A degree or relevant certification in business sales or a related field is preferred.
Work Environment
This position is remotebased with a flexible work schedule but will require periodic visits to our Burnaby BC location.
