Full job description
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer the Manager of Operations will be a key member of the executive team.
The successful candidate will lead a motivated operational team in managing all facets of the Companys light oil operations including downhole maintenance reservoir optimization HSE regulatory initiatives developmental activities labour management and the design and implementation of various value creation strategies.
The candidate will be responsible for budgetary forecasting and the associated operational performance of the Companys assets while collaborating with the executive team and senior leaders to create a track record of technical excellence.
A strong technical background with an extensive knowledge of production engineering completions well servicing and business development are a requirement for this position.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintain a strong relationship with senior management and the technical team to facilitate the development and executions of strategies that support the Companys business plans and values
- Lead motivate and mentor a performanceoriented operations management team to deliver results that meet strategic operational goals.
- Ensure annual and longterm operational objectives are created communicated measured and reported to enhance the desired resultsdriven culture.
- Ensure all systems processes and controls are effective and implemented in a manner that is in accordance with regulatory and legal requirements.
- Support development and implementation of policies to ensure organizational commitment and accountability to health safety and environmental (HSE) culture and performance.
Education experience and skills:
Knowledge and experience gained from working in small entrepreneurial cultures and exposure to both private and public organizations.
- Bachelor or advanced degree in an Engineering discipline is preferred but not required
- 20 years of industry experience and 10 years of leadership experience in the Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin (Preferred)
- Demonstrated success with developing and implementing operational strategies and goals to facilitate the execution of both short and longterm budgets.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fastmoving environment to deliver strong safety operations and financial results
- Track record of generating business process improvements with a strong focus on governance and accountability.
- Excellent people skills and qualities including an ability to solve problems under pressure while engaging with different levels of internal and external stakeholders.
Job Type: Fulltime
Pay: $140000.00$180000.00 per year
