Job description: Design Engineer PCB design
Location: Yelahanka Bangalore
You will:
Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including hardware software and mechanical engineers to design and develop PCBs for BMS BMC HMI Charger and Motor Control Units. Translate system requirements and schematics into detailed PCB layouts using industrystandard tools (e.g. Cadence Altium Designer OrCAD etc).
Perform simulations and signal integrity analysis to ensure robust design performance.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation including schematics layout BOM assembly drawings and test procedures.
Conduct design reviews and provide technical feedback to ensure design integrity and compliance with industry standards.
Participate in prototype builds testing and debugging and implement necessary design changes.
Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers to optimize PCB design for manufacturability and costefficiency.
Maintain the design files in versioncontrolled environments.
Create component footprints and maintain the Component database.
Stay updated with the latest PCB design trends tools and best practices.
To be successful you will be expected to:
Ensure highquality PCB designs that meet reliability performance and safety standards. Address and resolve technical challenges related to PCB design including thermal management EMC/EMI considerations and highspeed signal integrity.
Collaborate effectively with team members and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Support the product development lifecycle from concept through production including design validation and product testing.
Adhere to project timelines and deliverables ensuring projects are completed on schedule.
You must have:
Diploma/ B.Tech. in Electronics & Communications Engineering or equivalent
Over 36 years of handson experience in PCB design preferably in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
Proficiency in PCB design software such as Cadence Altium Designer OrCAD Eagle or similar tools.
Strong understanding of analog and digital circuit design signal integrity and power electronics.
Experience with designing PCBs for highpower and highvoltage applications.
Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for PCB design including DFM DFT and EMC considerations.
Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
