Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain functional and stable web applications to meet the company s needs.
- Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Implement responsive design principles to ensure usability across platforms and devices.
- Utilize frontend technologies such as HTML CSS and JavaScript to enhance user experience.
- Conduct website performance tests and optimize components for maximum speed and scalability.
- Debug and troubleshoot issues in the development and production environments.
- Develop and manage databases for website backend functionality.
- Ensure crossplatform optimization for mobile and desktop applications.
- Maintain software documentation for reference and reporting.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to other developers.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies and industry trends to suggest improvements.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to implement SEO best practices.
- Coordinate with IT support to monitor and improve website security.
- Assist in the implementation of content management systems (CMS) for easy updates.
- Support the testing and training of endusers on new systems and applications.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Proven experience as a Web Developer or similar role with a strong portfolio of work.
- Proficient in HTML5 CSS3 JavaScript and relevant frameworks (e.g. React Angular).
- Experience with serverside programming languages such as PHP Python or Node.js.
- Knowledge of SQL and database management systems.
- Familiarity with version control tools like Git.
- Understanding of SEO principles and their application in web development.
- Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Experience with responsive design and mobilefirst development.
- Uptodate with web development trends and emerging technologies.
- Certifications in web development or related areas are a plus.
- Experience with content management systems (CMS) is desirable.
- Ability to provide technical support and training to endusers.
