Job Description
- Conduct tutoring sessions for K12 students in various scientific disciplines (biology chemistry physics etc.) aligned with US curriculum standards.
- Simplify complex scientific concepts for students tailoring explanations to individual learning needs.
- Provide engaging interactive lessons that support both theoretical knowledge and practical applications of science.
- Develop lesson plans assignments and experiments that cater to individual student learning goals.
- Monitor and assess student progress offering constructive feedback and strategies for improvement.
- Foster an encouraging interactive online learning environment.
- Collaborate with parents guardians or supervisors to discuss student progress and address any concerns.
- Bachelor s degree in Science Education or a related field (required); teaching certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience teaching or tutoring science subjects within the US K12 curriculum.
- Strong understanding of US science curriculum standards and guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain scientific concepts clearly.
- Proficiency in virtual teaching tools and platforms (Zoom Google Meet etc.).
- Availability to work during US time zones.
- Reliable internet connection computer and PenTab or similar device for online instruction.
- Familiarity with Common Core standards or APlevel science content.
- Experience preparing students for standardized science exams.
- Strong organizational and problemsolving skills to effectively plan and deliver engaging lessons.
