Position : Java Application Support

Location : Bangalore Hyderabad Pune Bhubaneswar Chennai Trivandrum
Shift Timings:. APAC & EMEIA shifts (Rotational)
Notice Period : Immediate.

Detailed JD (Roles and Responsibilities)
  • Experienced in Production Support projects working on shifts as well as weekend shifts on a rotational basis.
  • Excellent communication analytical and interpersonal skills.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams by setting up bridge calls to ensure timely smooth resolution of a problem/incident/task and effective communication with stakeholder.
  • Working exp. on Java and SQL
  • Sound hand on exp. with Splunk usage.
  • Need to have Application log analysis skills and prior exp. to troubleshoot issues in production environments by analysing Java code repository.
  • Indepth analysis of service trends and implements adjustments to mitigate risk and prevent issue recurrence.
  • ITIL / Ticket / Incident managing skills and previous work exp. on the same would be desired.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system configurations issues process and resolutions.
  • Carry out daily healthcheck activities involving application checks system checks and necessary database checks and related on production systems / servers.
  • The scope of responsibility also covers monitoring business critical batch workloads realtime / interactive processing data transfer services application onboarding and upgrades and application recovery procedures.
  • Ensure Client SLAs are met Manage deliverables for critical applications by working with Business users and understand the IT/business SLA s.
  • Collaborate with Dev/L3s on incidents/issue triages and release/change review meetings as well as identify enhancements for application platform stabilization.
  • Troubleshoot Major Incidents involving and engaging all necessary teams create post mortems and ensure closure of incident.
