Job Description
- Oversee daytoday accounting processes focusing on bank reconciliations and transactions
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of financial reporting and compliance with SOX controls and external audit requirements
- Lead process improvement initiatives to enhance operating efficiency internal controls and team performance
- Provide direct supervision coaching and mentoring to a team of 68 accounting professionals
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to develop financial strategies and support business performance
- Prepare or delegate ad hoc financial analyses and ensure accurate processing recording and reporting of financial data
- Drive team engagement cultivate a positive culture and serve as a consultant on processes with financial implications
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or related field
- 35 years of managerial experience leading a team of 68 in a large corporate environment (finance or accounting preferred)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office particularly advanced Excel skills
- Strong leadership skills in coaching mentoring and team development
- Solid experience with bank reconciliations transaction management and process improvement
- Familiarity with Oracle accounting systems and the insurance industry is a plus along with global experience
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across multiple locations
