Your Role
As the Operations Manager you will be the right hand to the owner doctor overseeing daytoday clinical and nonclinical operations maintaining exceptional patient care standards and fostering a positive work environment. What You ll Do
- Leadership & Team Coordination: Lead motivate and manage a team of 14 dedicated team members across two locations. Organize training maintain staff schedules and foster accountability to achieve seamless operations.
- Patient Relations & Communication: Be the goto for patient queries billing concerns and quality control issues. Ensure patient satisfaction through empathetic communication and efficient resolution of issues.
- Operations Management: Oversee clinical and administrative functions from scheduling and insurance verification to accounts receivable. Keep their practices running efficiently and ensure team members stay on track with performance goals.
- Financial Oversight: Partner with their billing team on insurance claims Medicaid processes and feeforservice models to ensure financial processes are streamlined and accurate.
- Compliance & Training: Manage staff certifications compliance training (HIPAA OSHA) and maintain documentation. Schedule and oversee BLS/CPR training for team every two years.
- Event & Staff Appreciation Planning: Plan quarterly meetings staff events and appreciation days celebrating contributions on days like Dental Assistant Appreciation Week and Hygienist Appreciation Week.
- Marketing & Outreach: Work on internal and external marketing strategies manage social media posts and coordinate with the marketing team on patient engagement initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Review and enhance office protocols to improve patient care and team performance driving consistent growth.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in dental office management ideally within pediatric or multilocation practices.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with dental software (Fuse beneficial) and dental terminology is required.
- Skills: Strong leadership communication and organizational skills with the ability to independently solve problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Travel: Ability to work onsite primarily in Alton with occasional travel to Wolfeboro.
