Job Description
- Python Java C# for development
- AWS Azure Google Cloud for cloud modernization
- COBOL (for legacy system understanding)
- Lead and manage software modernization projects transitioning legacy systems to modern architectures
- Analyze legacy codebases identify business logic dependencies and risks in migration
- Design and implement solutions that enhance performance scalability and maintainability
- Collaborate with developers business analysts and project managers to ensure successful project delivery
- Provide technical leadership throughout the modernization process and mitigate migration risks
- Document architectural designs migration strategies and ensure knowledge sharing across the team
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software modernization
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field
- Experience as a Software Architect or Senior Developer focused on modernization projects
- Expertise in migrating legacy systems (COBOL experience preferred) to modern languages like Java C# or Python
- Strong understanding of software architecture design patterns and best practices
- Client delivery experience with effective communication skills (C1/C2 level English)
- Analytical and problemsolving skills with experience in code analysis refactoring and automated testing
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS Azure Google Cloud) in modernization projects
- Knowledge of containerization (Docker Kubernetes) and microservices architecture
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD tools
- 20 days of PTO plus local public holidays
