Job Description
- Develop .NET WPF/WCF software for image acquisition and postprocessing in biological fluorescent imaging workflows.
- Fix defects in existing code and identify opportunities for refactoring and optimization.
- Participate in discussions around technical debt and contribute to its resolution.
- Work with image acquisition systems to capture manipulate and optimize image data.
- Improve the technical quality of team outputs through regular technical design and code reviews.
- Participate actively in an Agile environment contributing to the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field (Science Technology Engineering Mathematics).
- Minimum of 3 years of software development experience including architecting and maintaining thin/thick clients and APIs.
- Strong technical skills with proven expertise in:
- .NET .NET Core C# Visual Studio.
- WCF WPF MVVM MEF.
- Willingness to work inoffice located in Bellevue WA.
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL MySQL etc.
- Familiarity with version control systems (SVN Git GitHub SourceTree).
- Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio development environment.
- Initiative to explore and experiment with new software frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to creatively find solutions to technical challenges.
- Ability to work independently while contributing to team goals.
