Job Description
Job Title: Travel RN Gastroenterology (GI)
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor patients with gastrointestinal conditions documenting any changes in their health status.
- Assist with diagnostic and therapeutic GI procedures ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with gastroenterologists and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families about GI conditions treatment options and postprocedure care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments interventions and outcomes.
- Participate in call coverage as scheduled including rotating weekends.
Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in California.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a GI or related nursing setting preferred.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Additional Information
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks.
