Our approach is to bridge the gap between traditional farming practices and modern technologydriven solutions.
Role Description
Build and nurture strong relationships with major Farm Machinery OEMs in India fostering collaboration and strategic partnerships.
Develop and maintain contacts within the Chinese or import Farm Machinery ecosystem
Oversee the endtoend supply chain process for Farm Machinery products ensuring timely and costeffective procurement contract manufacturing and logistics.
Build a knowledge repository of spare parts replacement cycles and create a supply chain for availability of spares
Lead and participate in research and development activities to enhance the performance efficiency and reliability of machinery and also design new machinery
Candidate Requirements Qualifications Experience and Skillsets
Education Qualification: Bachelors degree in Engineering (Mechanical Preferred) or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
Industry Preference: Automotive or Farm Machinery sector
Work Experience: Should have 4 to 8 years of experience in automotive/ Farm machinery manufacturing or supply chain active trading or assembling. Proven experience in Farm Machinery product development R&D or manufacturing.
Skill Sets:
1. Strong expertise in developing and testing prototypes with the ability to iterate quickly based on feedback. This is crucial for refining designs and driving product innovation.
2. Experience in understanding customer needs and translating them into product or feature requirements. Rooted understanding of farmer use cases and behavior is highly preferred.
3. Should understand machine manufacturing basics critical components import processes and machine transportation along with handson experience in procurement supply chain management and vendor negotiations to ensure timely delivery and quality standards.
4. Familiarity with the Chinese or import Farm Machinery ecosystem is an added advantage.
5. Ability to lead crossfunctional teams and drive results in a dynamic environment and should demonstrate team building acumen along with excellent communication.
6. Should be willing to embrace a startup culture of iterations failed attempts ambiguity etc.
