Job Description
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Developing new userfacing features using React.js
- Building reusable components and frontend libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into highquality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of webcapable devices and browsers
- Collaborating with the team to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction visuals and experience
- Conducting code reviews and providing thoughtful feedback
- Maintaining high code quality by writing unit tests and conducting thorough testing
- Conducting performance tuning and improving usability
- Staying uptodate with the latest frontend technologies and best practices
- Assisting in deploying applications and conducting troubleshooting when necessary
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or relevant field
- Proven work experience as a Frontend developer
- Handson experience with React.js and its core principles
- Familiarity with serverside CSS preprocessors
- Proficient understanding of web markup including HTML5 and CSS3
- Experience with data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js)
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token
- Experience with common frontend development tools such as Babel Webpack NPM etc.
- Experience with Redux or similar state management libraries
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
- Excellent problemsolving skills and a proactive approach to finding efficient solutions
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- An eye for detail and a commitment to delivering highquality work
- Experience with performance optimization and implementing responsive design
