Job Title: Part/Fulltime MSK Expert for MRI Radiologist

Location: Safdarjung Delhi

Overview:

The role of a Part/Fulltime MSK Expert for MRI Radiologist at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi is crucial to the accurate diagnosis and treatment of musculoskeletal conditions through medical imaging. The position plays a vital role in providing specialized expertise in MRI interpretation and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting MR imaging studies for musculoskeletal conditions with precision and accuracy.
  • Providing expertise in the interpretation of orthopedic imaging and MRI findings.
  • Collaborating with orthopedic surgeons physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to create comprehensive patient treatment plans.
  • Using advanced medical imaging analysis techniques to assess and diagnose musculoskeletal disorders.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements during MRI procedures.
  • Participating in multidisciplinary meetings to discuss complex cases and develop treatment strategies.
  • Utilizing clinical decisionmaking skills to recommend appropriate imaging modalities for specific musculoskeletal conditions.
  • Educating and guiding technologists and residents in the acquisition and interpretation of musculoskeletal MRI studies.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives in musculoskeletal imaging services.
  • Staying updated on the latest advancements in MRI technology and musculoskeletal imaging research.

Required Qualifications:

  • MD or equivalent degree in Radiology.
  • Board certification in Radiology and specialization in Musculoskeletal Radiology.
  • DNB or DMRD qualification with a focus on Musculoskeletal Imaging.
  • Demonstrated experience in interpreting musculoskeletal MRI studies in a clinical setting.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and evaluating various orthopedic and musculoskeletal conditions through medical imaging.
  • Strong understanding of MRI protocols sequences and techniques for optimal musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Ability to make clinical decisions based on the findings of musculoskeletal MRI studies.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Proficiency in utilizing imaging software and PACS systems for image analysis and interpretation.
  • Commitment to adhering to ethical and professional standards in Radiology practice.
  • Proven track record of contributing to research and academic activities in musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to musculoskeletal MRI procedures.
  • Ability to mentor and supervise trainees and junior staff in musculoskeletal imaging.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to prioritize patient safety and care in MRI services.
  • Flexibility to work in a dynamic and fastpaced healthcare environment.
