Job Description

Overview

The Showroom Manager plays a crucial role in the organization overseeing the operations of the showroom and ensuring a seamless customer experience. They are responsible for managing the showroom staff inventory and sales activities. The Showroom Manager must maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure that the showroom meets or exceeds sales targets. This role is essential in maintaining the brand image and driving business growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage showroom staff and coordinate daily operations
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Develop and implement sales strategies
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction
  • Monitor inventory levels and conduct regular stock checks
  • Train and develop showroom staff
  • Implement visual merchandising standards
  • Manage showroom expenses and budgets
  • Handle customer escalations and complaints
  • Analyze sales and customer data to drive decisionmaking
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
  • Conduct performance reviews and set performance goals for the showroom staff
  • Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to drive traffic to the showroom
  • Stay updated on industry trends and market conditions
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis

Required qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing or a related field
  • Proven experience in showroom management or retail sales
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team
  • Strong understanding of sales principles and customer service practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in using MS Office and inventory management software
  • Ability to analyze sales and customer data
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
  • Knowledge of visual merchandising and store presentation techniques
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced and dynamic environment
  • Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
  • Flexibility to work weekends and extended hours as required
  • Understanding of budgeting and expense management
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitor analysis
