Overview:
The IT Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring that IT projects are planned executed and closed effectively. This role is essential for streamlining project activities and ensuring that all project goals are met within the specified timelines and budget constraints.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in project planning monitoring and reporting
- Coordinate project activities and ensure all project phases are on track
- Manage project documentation and ensure it is uptodate
- Facilitate communication between project stakeholders
- Monitor project risks and issues and devise mitigation strategies
- Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules and timelines
- Assist in resource allocation and management
- Participate in project meetings and provide administrative support
- Conduct quality assurance activities to ensure project deliverables meet standards
- Support the project manager in various projectrelated tasks
- Contribute to the development and improvement of project management processes
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure project success
- Assist in project budget management and tracking
- Identify and escalate project issues as necessary
- Ensure adherence to project management best practices and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
- Proven experience in project coordination or related role
- Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in project management tools and software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities effectively
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Problemsolving and critical thinking abilities
- Knowledge of technical concepts and terminology
- Detailoriented with a focus on quality and accuracy
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project management approaches
- Certification in project management is a plus
- Experience in the IT industry is preferred
