Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat gynaecological conditions and disorders.
- Perform surgical procedures such as hysterectomies dilation and curettage and laparoscopies.
- Provide prenatal care and family planning services.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests and screenings.
- Consult and collaborate with other medical professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Ensure adherence to all professional ethical and legal medical standards.
- Participate in research and contribute to medical advancement in the field of gynaecology.
- Maintain accurate and updated medical records and patient documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree.
- Board certification in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
- Valid state medical license and DEA registration.
- Proven experience as a Gynaecologist Consultant or in a similar role.
- Advanced knowledge of gynaecological diseases treatments and surgical procedures.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
