Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and present design concepts to clients
- Develop detailed interior design plans including layouts color schemes and furniture selection
- Collaborate with architects engineers and contractors to ensure design feasibility
- Select and source materials furniture and fixtures
- Oversee the installation and implementation of designs
- Provide guidance on interior lighting and acoustics
- Stay updated on industry trends and new design technologies
- Manage project budgets and timelines
- Create visual merchandising displays for retail spaces
- Communicate effectively with clients vendors and team members
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Interior Design or related field
- Proven experience in interior design projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and other design software
- Strong understanding of building codes and regulations
- Excellent visual and spatial awareness
- Advanced knowledge of materials finishes and textiles
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Demonstrated creativity and attention to detail
- Knowledge of sustainable design principles
- Experience in visual merchandising is a plus
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams
- Portfolio showcasing design projects
- Professional certification in Interior Design is preferred
- Flexibility to travel to project sites as needed
