Job Description
Overview
Key responsibilities
- Lead a team of Drupal developers and provide technical guidance and mentorship
- Manage and oversee the implementation and customization of Drupal and Acquia solutions
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather requirements and design scalable solutions
- Ensure the best practices for Drupal development configuration and deployment are followed
- Conduct code reviews performance optimization and troubleshooting for Drupalbased applications
- Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to define project scope goals and deliverables
- Stay updated with the latest Drupal and Acquia updates tools and technologies
- Provide technical leadership and support for complex problem resolutions
- Develop and maintain documentation related to Drupal and Acquia solutions
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and workflows
- Monitor and analyze the performance of Drupal applications and make recommendations for improvements
- Participate in the recruitment and onboarding of Drupal team members
- Work closely with the architecture team to design scalable and secure solutions
- Ensure compliance with industry standards security and best practices
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new Drupal modules and extensions
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or related field
- 5 years of experience in Drupal development and customization
- 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role
- Indepth knowledge of Acquia Cloud and Acquia Site Factory
- Proficiency in PHP JavaScript HTML and CSS
- Demonstrated experience in integrating Drupal with thirdparty applications and services
- Experience with version control systems such as Git
- Strong understanding of web application security and best practices
- Excellent problemsolving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a team
- Experience with Agile development methodologies
- Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices
- Certifications in Drupal and/or Acquia are a plus
- Proven track record of delivering highquality scalable and maintainable Drupal solutions
- Experience in performance tuning and optimization of Drupal applications
