Senior Project Engineer
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage engineering projects from conception to completion
- Develop project plans including scope budget and schedule
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies
- Oversee engineering design and implementation activities
- Monitor and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to achieve project goals
- Provide technical guidance and support to project team members
- Identify and address project issues and propose effective solutions
- Conduct quality control and assurance activities
- Prepare and present project status reports to stakeholders
- Manage project documentation and recordkeeping
- Supervise and mentor junior engineering staff
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for project processes
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standards
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field; Masters degree preferred
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering project management
- Proven track record of successfully delivering complex engineering projects
- Strong proficiency in project management tools and software
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Indepth knowledge of engineering principles and practices
- Experience in risk assessment and mitigation strategies
- Ability to conduct thorough quality control and assurance
- Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
- Strategic thinking and problemsolving skills
- Experience with regulatory requirements and compliance
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial management
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality standards
