Job Description
Job Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- DevOps Tools & Automation:
- Manage and monitor continuous integration (CI) and continuous deployment (CD) pipelines.
- Develop manage and enhance automation tools to streamline DevOps workflows.
- Evaluate and learn new DevOps technologies to improve efficiency.
- Version Control:
- Proficiency in Git and GitHub workflows to create and maintain internal documentation.
- Manage version control and repository management using tools like Git or similar applications.
- Binary Management:
- Expertise with Artifactory or any equivalent binary management tool to handle storage distribution and security of code artifacts.
- Operating Systems:
- Strong understanding of various operating systems particularly Linux and Unix as most public cloud infrastructures operate on these systems.
- Jenkins Experience (Preferred):
- Experience working with Jenkins for automating various stages of CI/CD pipelines.
- Incident Response & Troubleshooting:
- Handle incident responses troubleshooting and fixing issues across various products and services.
- Participate in a 24x7 rotation for production issue escalations.
- Java JDBC and Spring:
- Solid working knowledge and experience in Java JDBC and Spring for building troubleshooting and supporting software applications.
Required Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Git and GitHub workflows.
- Experience with Artifactory or equivalent binary management tools.
- Expertise in developing managing and monitoring CI/CD pipelines.
- Excellent knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems.
- Knowledge of Jenkins for CI/CD automation (preferred).
- Experience handling incident responses and production escalations.
- Strong working experience in Java JDBC and Spring.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a DevOps environment for 68 years.
- Experience with public clouds (AWS Azure GCP) would be an added advantage.
- Strong problemsolving skills and ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to quickly evaluate and learn new technologies.
