Job Description
Job Title: MSSQL Developer (US Citizen Only)
Location: Remote
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualifications:
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and optimize database structures and objects including tables views indexes stored procedures and functions.
- Write and troubleshoot complex TSQL queries to support application requirements.
- Monitor and analyze database performance identifying bottlenecks and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency.
- Optimize SQL queries and indexes for improved system performance.
- Develop implement and maintain ETL processes using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) or other tools.
- Ensure the accurate extraction transformation and loading of data between systems.
- Perform regular database maintenance tasks including backups restoration and integrity checks.
- Implement security measures to safeguard data including access controls encryption and auditing.
- Work closely with application developers business analysts and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and deliver database solutions.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of database designs processes and systems.
- Develop and maintain reports using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) or other reporting tools.
- Support business intelligence efforts by designing and maintaining data warehouses.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
- Experience in SQL Server development and database administration.
- Strong proficiency in TSQL programming and performance tuning.
- Experience with SSIS SSRS or similar tools.
- Indepth knowledge of SQL Server architecture and components (e.g. database engine SQL Agent).
- Experience with database modeling and design (ER diagrams normalization).
- Experience with cloud database environments such as Azure SQL Database or AWS RDS.
- Federal Experience is a plus.
- Required Security clearance.
