Overview
A Salon Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of a salon ensuring exceptional customer service and driving business growth. They are responsible for fostering a positive and professional environment to enhance the overall salon experience for both customers and employees.
Key responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the salon including staff scheduling customer service inventory management and financial oversight
- Provide leadership and mentorship to salon staff fostering a positive and collaborative team environment
- Oversee recruitment training and performance management of salon employees
- Ensure highquality customer service and resolve any escalated customer issues
- Develop and execute strategies to drive business growth and meet sales targets
- Implement and maintain salon policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency
- Conduct regular inspections to maintain salon cleanliness organization and adherence to safety standards
- Manage salon inventory including product orders stock levels and product merchandising
- Handle salon financial responsibilities such as budgeting forecasting and expense monitoring
- Collaborate with vendors suppliers and other business partners to maintain salon operations
- Stay updated on industry trends new products and competitor activities
- Adhere to all regulations and laws related to salon operations safety and licensing

Required qualifications
- Proven experience in a salon management or related role
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent understanding of salon operations including scheduling inventory control and financial management
- Strong customer service orientation with the ability to handle customer inquiries and concerns
- Proficient in using salon management software and basic computer applications
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of industry trends products and techniques in the beauty and wellness sector
- Ability to work in a fastpaced dynamic environment while maintaining a high standard of performance
- Understanding of health safety and sanitation regulations applicable to salon operations
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Salon Management is a plus
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as required
