Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Purchase Manager to join our team. The ideal

candidate will have a strong background in vendor relationship management negotiation skills

and supply chain management. This role is crucial for optimizing our procurement processes

and ensuring effective inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Relationship Management:

Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors to ensure optimal pricing quality

and delivery of goods and services.

Negotiation:

Lead negotiations with suppliers to secure favourable terms and conditions including

pricing payment terms and delivery schedules.

Supply Management:

Oversee the supply chain processes ensuring timely procurement of materials and

minimizing disruptions.

Credit Control:

Monitor vendor credit terms and conditions ensuring compliance and managing any

creditrelated issues.

Inventory Management:

Implement and maintain inventory control measures to ensure optimal stock levels

reduce excess inventory and minimize stockouts.

Vendor Expertise:

Stay informed about market trends pricing and new products providing insights to

improve procurement strategies.

Reporting:

Prepare and present reports on purchasing activities vendor performance and inventory

levels to senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Supply Chain Management or related

field.

37 years of experience in procurement or purchasing preferably in a B2B environment.

Strong negotiation skills with a proven track record of successful vendor negotiations.

Excellent relationship management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with

internal and external stakeholders.

Preferably from electrical and Building Industry.

Knowledge of supply chain vendor management skills best practices.

Experience with inventory management systems and processes.

Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.

Proficient in specific software or tools relevant to the role e.g. ERP systems Excel.
