Overview
The Graphic Designer plays a crucial role in creating visual concepts to communicate ideas that inspire inform and captivate consumers. This role is essential in enhancing the overall brand presence and marketing efforts of the organization through creative and visually appealing designs.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborating with the marketing and creative teams to create engaging designs for a variety of media including print web and digital platforms.
- Creating visual aspects of marketing materials websites and other media including infographics logos icons and social media graphics.
- Brainstorming and mocking up design ideas to present to the team.
- Using feedback from the team to improve designs and concepts.
- Ensuring brand consistency across all projects.
- Staying uptodate with industry developments and tools to stay ahead of the curve.
- Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining quality and meeting deadlines.
- Collaborating with the marketing team to develop creative concepts and designs.
- Presenting ideas and concepts to clients and team members.
- Participating in team meetings and brainstorming sessions.
Required qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Graphic Design Fine Arts Visual Communication or related field.
- Proven work experience as a Graphic Designer or similar role.
- Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop Illustrator InDesign etc.).
- Strong knowledge of design fundamentals such as layout typography and color theory.
- Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Creative innovative and able to bring new ideas to the table.
- Experience with digital and print design including branding and marketing materials.
- Proficiency in design software and technologies (such as InDesign Illustrator Dreamweaver Photoshop).
