Overview
The HR Recruiter Intern plays a vital role in supporting the recruitment process by sourcing screening and assisting in the selection of qualified candidates for various positions within the organization. This position is crucial in ensuring a continuous pipeline of top talent to meet the companys staffing needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in crafting job descriptions and job specifications
- Source potential candidates on various online platforms
- Screen and shortlist candidates for open positions
- Coordinate with hiring managers to schedule interviews
- Participate in interviewing and assessing candidates
- Conduct reference checks on potential candidates
- Maintain candidate databases and organize resumes
- Assist in organizing and attending career fairs and recruitment events
- Support the onboarding process for new hires
- Assist with HR administrative tasks as needed
- Contribute to the development of HR recruiting strategies and initiatives
- Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions
- Stay updated on HR and recruitment best practices
- Provide administrative support to HR and hiring managers
- Assist with other HR projects and initiatives as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor s degree in Human Resources Business Administration or related field
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Proficiency in MS Office especially Excel Word and PowerPoint
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Detailoriented with a high level of accuracy
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Strong interpersonal and relationshipbuilding skills
- Basic understanding of HR principles and practices
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fastpaced work environment
- Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
- Familiarity with recruitment tools and platforms is a plus
- Knowledge of labor laws and regulations related to recruitment is a plus
