Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Community Manager to manage the daytoday operations of our coworking space and ensure a positive experience for all members. The ideal candidate must have 15 years of experience in managing or working in a coworking space with a strong focus on client interactions community building and operational efficiency. You will be the face of our coworking space responsible for creating a welcoming and engaging environment for members and visitors alike.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Hospitality Communications or a related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 15 years of experience in community management operations or a similar role with prior experience working in or managing a coworking space (mandatory).
- Strong background in customer service and client relationship management.
- Experience in handling the daytoday operations of a shared workspace including managing facilities member engagement and resolving issues.
Technical & Operational Skills:
- Operations Management: Ability to oversee the operations of the coworking space ensuring everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Client Interaction: Skilled in handling client interactions addressing member inquiries and maintaining positive relationships with all members.
- Event Coordination: Experience in organizing events workshops and networking sessions for the community to foster engagement.
- Tech Savvy: Familiarity with coworking space management software basic IT troubleshooting and general office equipment handling.
Soft Skills:
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with members vendors and internal teams.
- ProblemSolving: Ability to troubleshoot and resolve member concerns or operational issues promptly.
- Multitasking: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.
- Leadership: Positive proactive attitude with leadership qualities to manage a team or guide junior staff when needed.
Responsibilities
Community Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for members providing exceptional customer service and addressing any inquiries or issues they may have.
- Build and maintain relationships with members to create a vibrant and engaged coworking community.
- Welcome new members ensure smooth onboarding and facilitate introductions between members to foster collaboration.
- Coordinate and manage events workshops and networking activities for members to encourage interaction and professional development.
Operations Management:
- Oversee the daily operations of the coworking space including managing facilities supplies and ensuring cleanliness and organization of common areas.
- Handle member checkins tour inquiries and provide information about available services and office spaces.
- Ensure all equipment (printers WiFi etc.) and amenities (coffee machines meeting rooms) are in good working condition and resolve any issues quickly.
- Liaise with vendors service providers and contractors to ensure smooth functioning of the space.
Member Engagement & Retention:
- Proactively gather feedback from members to continuously improve their experience and ensure their needs are being met.
- Identify opportunities to increase member engagement satisfaction and retention through personalized service and communitybuilding activities.
- Handle any disputes or complaints from members with professionalism and a solutionoriented approach.
Client Relationship Management:
- Handle membership inquiries conduct tours for prospective clients and assist with the onboarding of new members.
- Work with sales and marketing teams to promote the coworking space and attract new members.
- Assist in membership renewals billing and payment followups as necessary.
Event Planning & Execution:
- Organize and host events workshops and social activities that align with members needs and interests.
- Work with external partners or speakers to bring relevant events to the space that can benefit the community.
Administrative & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate member records including contracts renewals and payments.
- Prepare and present reports on space occupancy member engagement and operational efficiency to management.
