Job Description
Capital Market BA Custody business
- Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital markets sector with a focus on the custody business.
- Experience working in a global bank handling custody services such as safekeeping settlement and corporate actions.
- Strong understanding of the custody business model including operations technology and regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to define and document complex business requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.
- Excellent problemsolving skills with a focus on process improvement and operational efficiency.
- Strong understanding of market infrastructures custody chains and regulatory frameworks that impact global custody businesses.
- Ability to manage stakeholder relationships across multiple geographies and time zones.
- Experience in working with crossfunctional teams in a global bank environment.
- Proficiency in business process modeling and business analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to present and influence at various levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of financial products and services in capital markets beyond custody such as trading risk management and regulatory reporting.
- Bachelor s degree in Finance Economics Business Administration or related fields.
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in the custody business within global banking institutions.
- Professional certifications such as CFA FRM or Business Analysis Certifications are an added advantage.
- Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams to gather document and translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Provide subject matter expertise in custody operations including settlement safekeeping corporate actions and other related services.
- Analyze and improve custody processes to ensure efficiency scalability and adherence to regulatory standards.
- Work with global banking clients to understand their custody business needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct data analysis risk assessment and impact analysis for custody services.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including operations risk compliance and IT to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Ensure that all custodyrelated solutions are aligned with global best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the design testing and implementation of new systems workflows and processes within custody operations.
- Support the postimplementation review and continuous improvements in custody services.
