Role Overview: A wellfunded AI research and development company is seeking candidates with a strong background in Computer Science particularly in areas related to artificial intelligence machine learning data science and algorithms. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of advanced computing concepts at the level required for academic research or professional practice. The role involves working with multimodal data (text images simulations structured datasets etc.) so familiarity with various data formats and processing techniques is essential. You should be capable of solving complex computational problems designing efficient algorithms and working in a fastpaced research environment.
What does daytoday look like: You would spend time solving a variety of advanced computer science problems including those related to artificial intelligence machine learning and data analysis while also developing innovative solutions. You ll also be working with multimodal data integrating largescale datasets from various sources including images structured databases and realtime data streams. Here are a couple of examples of the types of tasks you might encounter:
- Algorithm Development: Design and implement efficient algorithms for processing and analyzing large datasets optimizing performance and ensuring scalability.
- AI Model Building: Develop and train machine learning models for tasks like image recognition natural language processing or predictive analytics leveraging cuttingedge research techniques.
- Data Integration & Visualization: Combine and process data from different sources such as structured databases unstructured text and visual data creating clear visualizations and actionable insights.
Requirements:
- Computer Science Proficiency: Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals including algorithms data structures machine learning artificial intelligence and data processing.
- ProblemSolving Skills: Ability to approach complex computational challenges systematically and creatively with a focus on optimization and scalability.
- Technical Expertise: Familiarity with programming languages like Python Java C and proficiency in data analysis tools machine learning libraries (e.g. TensorFlow PyTorch) and big data frameworks (e.g. Hadoop Spark).
- Research Skills: Ability to translate complex computational problems into research questions design experiments and evaluate results.
