About the role
We are seeking a Finance Manager UK Operations to lead the Opex function within the UK Finance Operations team. This Bangalorebased role reports directly to the UK Financial Controller located in London. You will leverage our Global Finance Capability Centre for transactional activities while ensuring robust control over finance operations.

Roles and responsibilities
Financial Operations Responsible for the delivery of the daytoday finance opex operations and processing of the entity accounting
  • Responsible for the delivery of the daytoday finance operations and processing of the entity accounting within the 3 regional entities including but not limited to:
  1. Accounts Payable Maintain control and processing of accounts payable in a timely manner.
  2. Prepayments
  3. Accruals
  4. Bank reconciliations
  5. Intercompany
  6. Fixed assets and depreciation
  7. Payroll and staff costs
  8. Manage monthly recharges per the transfer pricing guidelines in place.
  • Develop & maintain robust financial processes controls and systems across P&L Balance Sheet and Cashflow to ensure month end delivery within 4 working days
  • Ownership of the balance sheet (excluding revenue and media) with clear and organized monthly balance sheet reconciliation
  • Delivery of the opex audit process through timely delivery of information for UK items
  • Submission of quarterly VAT return for UK entities
Financial Reporting Prepare accurate and effective financial reporting for areas under your control
  • Production of monthly staff cost per head reports reconciling to TBs
  • Preparation of monthly reporting including commentary of forecast and budget variance for staff costs overheads and balance sheet
  • Production of monthly balance sheet reconciliations as well as identification and escalation of issues identified
  • Manage team inputs on prior week actuals and AP reports for the 16week cash flow forecast
  • Prepare weekly payment run data including commentary vs 16week cash flow
  • Input into monthly Overhead forecast working with and building a strong relationship with the FP&A Business partner
Skills and Qualifications Required for the Role
Educational Background: CA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent qualification with a strong understanding of financial operations.
Experience: 57 years post articleship experience in finance operations or financial management preferably in a global or multinational environment.
Expertise:
  • Strong knowledge of operational expenses (Opex) management.
  • Proficiency in financial planning reporting and analysis.
  • Handson experience with ERP systems and financial tools.
Analytical Skills: Exceptional ability to analyze complex data identify trends and drive actionable insights.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
Leadership: Proven experience in managing teams and crossfunctional collaboration.
Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and adherence to financial controls and compliance.
Process Improvement: A mindset geared towards identifying and implementing process efficiencies.
