Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Create Financial Content: Write clear concise and informative articles blogs guides and other forms of content related to finance financial markets investment strategies personal finance and financial education.
- Research Financial Topics: Conduct indepth research on financial topics trends and regulations to ensure the content is uptodate accurate and relevant.
- Content Strategy & Development: Collaborate with the marketing and editorial teams to develop content strategies that align with brand objectives and target audience needs.
- Maintain Financial Accuracy: Ensure all content adheres to the highest standards of accuracy and reflects uptodate knowledge in the financial sector.
- Optimize for SEO: Use SEO best practices to create content that ranks well on search engines and drives organic traffic to the website.
- Engage Audience: Craft engaging content that simplifies complex financial concepts for a broad audience from novices to experienced investors.
- Educational Content Creation: Produce educational resources like howto guides explainer articles video scripts and webinars aimed at helping users better understand financial products and services.
- Proofreading & Editing: Review and edit content to ensure clarity readability and grammatical accuracy before publication.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the product design and digital marketing teams to ensure content is aligned with business goals and user experience.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience: 2 years of experience writing for the financial industry particularly in content creation for blogs websites or financial services.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of financial concepts including investment products personal finance markets economics financial regulations and fintech.
- Writing Skills: Exceptional writing and editing skills with a focus on clarity accuracy and simplicity in financial content.
- SEO Knowledge: Familiarity with SEO best practices and experience in optimizing content for search engines.
- Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail ensuring that all content is factually correct and wellstructured.
- Educational Content Expertise: Experience creating educational content particularly on financial literacy or personal finance education.
- Analytical Abilities: Ability to analyze financial trends news and topics and translate them into compelling content.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams and present ideas clearly.
- TechSavvy: Proficiency with content management systems (CMS) Microsoft Office Suite and tools like Google Analytics and SEO platforms (e.g. SEMrush Moz).
Desired Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in finance Economics Business Journalism or a related field.
- Certification or coursework in financial literacy investment management or a related area is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards (e.g. SEC regulations GDPR) is desirable.
