The role
- Oversee and manage the entire advertising sales business in Finland including linear digital and thirdparty sales partnerships.
- Develop and implement short mid and longterm strategies for advertising sales in Finland covering areas such as product development pricing packaging and sales tactics.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities by building comprehensive business cases.
- Take ownership of budgeting setting sales targets and tracking performance for the Finnish advertising sales division.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams within Finland and across the broader Viaplay Group including commercial sports production product and tech teams.
- Act as a member of the Finnish management team contributing to strategic decisionmaking.
- Lead and manage the Finnish ad sales team fostering a highperforming and motivated work environment.
What were looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and thats why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But in order to thrive in this role we do believe youll have at least some experience in the following:
- Proven experience in the media industry and advertising sales.
- Previous management and team leadership experience.
- Background in sports and betting is a plus considering upcoming changes in the Finnish betting market.
- Strong sales orientation with excellent negotiation skills.
- Wellestablished network within the media industry.
- Selfdriven motivated and collaborative mindset.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- Fluency in Finnish and English.
