Job Description
- Assess and implement individualized care plans while promoting resident wellness and dignity.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with BCCNM guidelines.
- Monitor residents conditions document changes and notify families and physicians as needed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care.
- Provide coaching and realtime guidance to care staff.
- Participate in care planning orientation and staff training programs.
- Ensure adherence to policies emergency procedures and confidentiality standards.
- Graduate of an approved Practical Nursing program and licensed with the BC College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
- Valid Occupational First Aid Level 1 certification.
- Previous experience in longterm care is an asset.
- Proficiency in English and basic computer skills.
- Ability to meet physical demands of the role including lifting up to 25 lbs.
