Key skills Minimum of 7 years of handson experience on wireless networking Operations or TAC Excellent written and verbal communication skills Good interpersonal skills for effective communication with business and technical teams. At least 5 years of handson experience in packet capture level troubleshooting across multiple network elements like switches routers firewalls etc. Proven track record of successful and timely delivery of assigned tasks. Technical Support experience in the networking domain Good interpersonal skills for effective communication with business and technical teams. Handson experience in packet capture level troubleshooting. Expertise in wireless and wired networking products and protocols Expertise in Designing deploying configuring and troubleshooting the following wireless and network protocols/technologies for widescale enterprise clients. Expertise in Wireless mesh networking SSID Call Flows involving Guest and EAP auth including ControllerRadius communication Expertise in 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax RF fundamentals / MIMO Wireless clients and drivers Wireless security (WPA2 WPA3) Authentication frameworks EAP PEAP EAPTLS POE/POE AAA/RADIUS DHCP DNS ACL ARP DHCP 1G/10G Ethernet (IEEE 802.3ab & IEEE 802.3ae) ICMP IPv4 & IPv6 LACP STP/RSTP/MST (IEEE 802.1D) VLANs (IEEE 802.1Q) MAC Learning VXLAN EoGRE At least 5 years experience in the implementation and troubleshooting of Campus and Enterprise wireless deployments including guest and EAP access NAC and RF. Knowledge on Arista CVCUE and Campus Product will have an added advantage Technical Support experience in Wireless NoC and familiarity with Day 2 Ops procedures Technical expertise to guide Wireless L2 RE team for any planned upgrades activities routine expansion RMA TAC responses and troubleshooting Experience on Arista Equipment and technologies would be an advantage
Profile/ Tasks Performance monitoring & Network Optimization Advanced Troubleshooting Raising TAC Case Coordination with various crossfunctional teams for troubleshooting coordinating with customer and user for inputs Perform regular upgrades e.g. OS patch vulnerability for Arista Devices Support testing of new patches builds in the customer environment and get clearance for upgrade Reporting mutually agreed on report sharing Daily/Weekly/Monthly Coordinating with the Arista team for Product Lifecycle management for installed products. Network audit: Configuration review and compliance Configuration assistance and best practices Design review assistance and best practices Network Operations: Technical troubleshooting support on Arista equipment; Customer escalation liaison with Arista TAC; Help Desk support; Managing trouble tickets and gathering input for analysis; Generate monthly highlevel reports on trouble Tickets. Support any PoC plan in coordination with Arista SE to demonstrate new features or modules Ensure the Day 2 Ops SLAs and timelines for planned activities are executed as per Customer and Arista guidelines/SoPs Monitor RE log book and handover activities of the L2 RE team Responsible to ensure validation and adherence to agreed report generation and sharing Daily/Weekly/Monthly MIS by L2 RE team Open to work as per Customer requirements agreed in SoW
Network Audit: Configuration review and compliance Configuration assistance and best practices Design review assistance and best practices Network Operations: Technical troubleshooting support on Arista equipment; Customer escalation liaison with Arista TAC and other stakeholders; Help Desk support; Managing trouble tickets and gathering input for analysis; Generate monthly highlevel reports on trouble Tickets; Provide RCA and Resolution plan for incidents reported. Coordinating with the Arista team for Product Lifecycle management for installed products. Perform Routine Bug Scrub and create a plan of Action to install updates /patches and bug fixes as and when required Attend Tech sessions planned by the Arista PS team as well as TAC Mentor and conduct internal capability building training sessions and oneonone sessions with new hires to keep the Day2 Ops team up to date on the deployed network Fabric and latest features. Ensure the following Day 2 ops tasks: o CuE and Arista Campus Daily Health Check o Plan for upgrades & change Management take required approvals MoP Validation oversee the activity and conduct pre and postchecks o Compliance and Audit observation closure o Bug scrub config/MoP validation and new feature impact analysis with EoS upgrade plan o New feature configuration in the network o Integrate new Arista switches into existing fabric o Update design for the addition of new switches to the existing fabric o Delta Design and migration plan creation for incremental change in already deployed Arista gear o Get client approvals on plan of action & change window for migration of Arista devices o Raise a TAC case and engage with TAC for issue resolution o Configuration of RMA hardware in the production network o Design document updation as per the latest deployed configuration o Reporting of activities as per agreed format and frequency
