Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and resultsdriven Center Sales Manager to oversee and drive sales activities for our institutional clients. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the sales operations of the center building relationships with key institutional clients meeting revenue targets and expanding our presence within the institutional sector. The Center Sales Manager will lead a team develop sales strategies and provide ongoing support to ensure longterm business success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to meet revenue targets and expand the company s footprint in the institutional sector.
- Create a sales pipeline by identifying and pursuing new institutional clients including schools colleges universities government organizations corporations and nonprofits.
- Conduct market research to understand the needs and trends within the institutional sector to position the company s offerings effectively.
- Team Management and Leadership:
- Lead motivate and manage the sales team to achieve monthly quarterly and annual sales goals.
- Train and develop the sales team on sales techniques product knowledge and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Set individual targets for the team monitor performance and provide regular feedback to ensure optimal productivity and growth.
- Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong longterm relationships with key institutional clients and decisionmakers.
- Understand client needs and customize solutions to align with their organizational goals.
- Serve as the main point of contact for clients ensuring timely responses and the highest level of customer satisfaction.
- Sales Reporting and Analysis:
- Prepare sales reports performance analysis and forecasts for senior management.
- Track and analyze sales metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of sales strategies and make adjustments as needed.
- Report on market trends competitor activities and customer feedback to help refine sales strategies.
- Partnership and Business Development:
- Identify and pursue strategic partnerships with institutional organizations to increase business opportunities.
- Negotiate contracts pricing and terms with institutional clients to maximize profitability while maintaining competitive advantage.
- Represent the company at industry events conferences and trade shows to network and create business opportunities.
- Collaboration and Crossfunctional Coordination:
- Collaborate with marketing product and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience from sales to postsales support.
- Work closely with the operations team to ensure that all client requirements are met and service delivery is aligned with client expectations.
- Client Retention and Upselling:
- Focus on client retention strategies by maintaining excellent postsales relationships and offering upsell and crosssell opportunities.
- Develop tailored solutions for clients to improve satisfaction and maximize the lifetime value of the relationship.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Marketing Sales or a related field. A Master s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales with at least 23 years in the institutional sector (education government corporations etc.).
- Proven track record of sales leadership meeting revenue targets and driving business growth.
- Experience managing and leading a sales team.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong understanding of institutional sales processes and customer relationship management (CRM) tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel Word PowerPoint).
- Familiarity with sales automation tools and software.
